Next Step – Build That Niche Site

Okay, looks like you’ve found a niche or product to build a site around, but you need to do a bit more research on this before you start building your niche site.

Using a good keyword tool - Matt’s Free Keyword Tool, Word Butler and Keyword Finder are some; and gather keywords related to your main keyword or your product. Select 5 – 10 that you think you could expand on. Go to Google, and type in each one. Note the number of competitors  – you want to find ones that have over 1000 searches per month, but fewer competitors for those keyword phrases.

My top tool choice for this research is James Jones’ Micro Niche Finder. This one program or tool alone will cut your niche research time to just a few minutes. It does all the above steps for you and more. If you’re not familiar with it, go here and watch the 5 free videos on the Micro Niche Finder site to see many ways it can help you.

Now, register a good domain name that will help you with search engine rankings.  It’s better to use your target keywords in your domain name, and using them in the same order, so you may need to resort to a hyphenated name. Register it, and get started with you new blog or website. Your main page will be your short sales page, and should be modeled after the previous article. It will have the links to your product’s sales page.

Now, you need content for your site/blog. You have two choices – research and write it yourself, or outsource it. Your budget may make that decision for you. Look around at competitor’s sites, check online articles, and go through the affiliate information and resources you have with your chosen product.

Here’s where Micronichefinder can come in really handy. By plugging in your keywords, it will find you a lot of sub-niches that are connected to your main niche. 5 or 6 sub-niches and articles should be enough. Each article or page should be keyword targeted to just one keyword or search phrase. Use the keyword phrase as your page title, in your article’s first sentence, and then use it again in your page conclusion. Have a link to your product on each page, and link to each of your sub-pages from your home page, and voila – you have a niche site.

Now, get ready to market your site…
