Another great video about creating an effective landing page from Mark Widauer today. Here’s a quick summary:
Importance of the Headline:
Your headline is your ad… make your promise, make it huge, make people want to read on!
The Text Body:
Your text body must connect with the reader – introductory paragraph relates to the headline.
Use bullets to give a few important and curiosity-arousing benefits.
Closing Paragraph is a call to action – just above your form.
The Form:
Ask for as little information as possible.
Put text on the button that relates to your headline
Follow these steps to improve your Opt-In page, and you’ll see your opt-ins increase. And more opt-ins equals more sales…
